International transfers

Because we handle applications to Australia, New Zealand and countries across Europe, your information will necessarily be transferred to those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled securely, and we transfer only what the receiving authority or institution requires.

How we protect your data

Documents are exchanged through an encrypted client portal rather than ordinary email or messaging apps. Access is restricted to the consultant assigned to your file and, where necessary, the documentation lead who performs the final review. Our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

How long we keep it

We retain application files for the period required by our record-keeping and professional obligations, and for as long as necessary to defend any claim arising from the engagement. Enquiry data that does not result in an engagement is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer relevant. You may request earlier deletion, subject to any legal obligation to retain records.
