FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we get most
Fees, timelines, eligibility, documents and what happens after approval. If yours is not here, ask us directly — we answer every enquiry ourselves.
Getting started
Start with the free eligibility assessment on this site — four questions and a two-minute result. It narrows the field to the streams your profile actually fits. From there, a consultation goes deeper: we look at your qualifications, work history, English level, funds and family situation, and give you a ranked shortlist with realistic timelines and costs for each option.
Yes. The initial assessment call is free and carries no obligation. We use it to establish whether you have a viable case at all. If you do not, we will tell you plainly rather than take a file we cannot progress — that conversation costs you nothing.
No. We work with clients across the UAE, Pakistan, India, the wider Gulf and beyond. Consultations run over video call, documents are exchanged through a secure portal, and everything except your biometrics appointment can be handled remotely.
Australia, New Zealand and Europe — including Schengen short-stay visas and national permits for Germany, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Malta and Ireland. We deliberately stay focused on these regions rather than claiming to cover everywhere, because depth in a system matters more than breadth across many.
Fees & process
Professional fees depend on the visa stream and the complexity of your case, and are quoted as a fixed amount in writing before you engage us. Government and third-party costs — visa application charges, skills assessments, English tests, medicals and police clearances — are paid directly by you to those bodies and are itemised in your quote so you can see the full picture from day one.
Yes. Professional fees are usually structured in stages tied to milestones — engagement, skills assessment, lodgement — so your payments track the progress of the work rather than falling due all at once.
We tell you the refusal grounds in plain language and set out your realistic options: merits review, a fresh application addressing the objection, or a different stream. Where the refusal stems from an error on our side, we reprepare and re-lodge at no professional fee. Government charges are set by the authority and are not refundable by us.
It varies enormously by stream. Visitor visas are usually decided in two to eight weeks. Student visas take two to four months including admissions. Employer-sponsored work visas run four to twelve weeks once the sponsor is approved. Skilled permanent residence realistically takes twelve to twenty-four months end to end. You will receive a stage-by-stage timeline specific to your case before any work begins.
Eligibility
Yes, and refusal cases are a significant part of our work. A previous refusal must always be disclosed — concealing it is a far more serious problem than the refusal itself. We obtain the refusal grounds, determine whether the issue was documentary, financial or credibility-related, and build the new application to answer that specific concern directly.
For Australian points-tested skilled visas, you must be under 45 at the time of invitation, and points peak between 25 and 32. New Zealand allows residence applications up to 55. Study, work, family and visitor visas generally have no upper age limit. Age limits do not apply to partner and parent visas.
No. Visitor visas require no English test at all. Student visas may waive it if your prior study was in English. Skilled migration does require formal proof — IELTS, PTE Academic, TOEFL iBT or an accepted alternative — because English directly determines your points score. We tell you which test suits your profile and target band before you book.
In almost every case, yes. Partners and dependent children are included as secondary applicants on the same application for skilled, work, study and business visas. They generally receive work or study rights, and children can usually access public schooling. For skilled migration, a partner with a positive skills assessment can also add points to your score.
Documents
For the initial assessment, just your passport bio page, your highest qualification certificate, a current CV and any English test result you already hold. That is enough for us to give you an accurate picture. The full document list is generated after we confirm your stream, and it is personalised to your case rather than a generic checklist.
It depends on the destination. Australia and New Zealand generally accept certified colour copies with certified English translations where the original is in another language. Most European consulates require apostille or embassy attestation, and some require sworn translations by a specific class of translator. We tell you exactly what each authority requires so you do not pay for attestation you do not need.
Documents are exchanged through an encrypted client portal, never over ordinary email or messaging apps. Access is limited to the consultant assigned to your file, and your data is retained only as long as required for the application and applicable record-keeping obligations. Our privacy policy sets out the detail.
After approval
Yes. Every grant is followed by a pre-departure briefing covering visa conditions and obligations, accommodation and insurance, airport arrival, opening a bank account, tax registration, and enrolling children in school. Skilled migration clients also receive a written summary of what they must do to protect their status and progress toward citizenship.
Yes. Subsequent-entrant applications for partners and children, family reunification permits in Europe, and parent visas are all part of what we handle. Many clients return to us two or three years after their own grant for exactly this.
Every visa carries conditions — study requirements, work limits, regional residence obligations, reporting duties or minimum stay periods. Breaching them can lead to cancellation. Your post-grant briefing sets out each condition attached to your specific visa, what triggers a breach, and what to do if your circumstances change.
